Jocelyn Tetel is the Vice President of Advancement at the Skirball Cultural Center. After joining the Skirball in 1997, she spent her first 27 years managing the Advancement Department responsible for advancing the Skirball’s mission through fundraising, strategic planning, government relations, membership, and public affairs. She worked closely with the Founder/CEO and management team to fundraise for Skirball’s general operations, temporary exhibitions, public program initiatives, and capital campaigns. In 2024, Jocelyn began working closely with the CEO on Skirball Board development, strategic initiatives, and government and neighbor relations.

Jocelyn has been a long-time volunteer in the Los Angeles community and has focused on improving the lives of children at risk. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of  the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation, Allies for Every Child, and Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Program (WRRAP).  She is a member of Visionary Women, Everychild Foundation, Fellows of Contemporary Art and the Photographic Arts Council and is involved with Exceptional Children’s Foundation and numerous arts and cultural organizations.

Prior to Skirball, Jocelyn enjoyed a 14-year career as a sales executive in the insurance industry at Johnson & Higgins and Chubb LifeAmerica. Jocelyn has a BA in psychology with minors in management and sociology from the University of New Hampshire.
