Paxton Smith is a musical artist with an alternative electropop sound. Smith was raised in Texas and prior to launching her music career, was best known for her viral valedictory speech, which called out the Texas 6-week abortion ban. Following her speech, Smith continued in the reproductive rights space and accumulated over 80M views for her work, was applauded by Hillary Clinton and Jennifer Aniston, featured on Variety, and CNN, and received coveted awards like TeenVogue’s 21 Under 21.
Following the overturn of Roe V Wade, Smith turned to music and in 2025 launched her career with her debut EP “But I Love It.” “But I Love It” is characterized by dirt, parties, and contradictory looping thoughts, all under bright gritty production.
